Paprika exports grow markedly and already exceed US $ 59 million

Between January and November of this year, Peru exported 20,461,190 kilos of whole paprika for a FOB value of US $ 59,553,654. In the absence of computing the shipments of the last month of the year, it can already be affirmed that the results are much better than those achieved throughout 2018 when 19,936,632 kilos were exported for US $ 53,938,005.

According to the Agrodata Peru portal, in the period corresponding to 2019, the main destination of these shipments was Mexico, where placements for US $ 26,472,500 were achieved. The United States with US $ 17,874,170, Spain with US $ 12,435,910 and Guatemala with US $ 2,417,469, among others, were located.

Meanwhile, S&M Foods SRL with US $ 9,385,000, Agroexportadora Sol de Olmos SAC with US $ 8,000,000, Grupo San Nicolás SAC with US $ 4,587,000, Monha Service SAC, were among the largest exporting companies in the sector. with US $ 3,876,000, Agrícola Pampa Baja SAC with US $ 3,610,000, Agroindustrial E&C SAC with US $ 3,065,000, Consorcio del Valle SAC with US $ 2,667,000 and ADB International SAC with US $ 2,620,000.
